Ashland Independant Film Festival
Monthly Film Series Begins July 25
Two special showings of When Did You Last See Your Father? at the Varsity Theatre Friday, July 25 at 6p and 8:15p will benefit the AIFF and launch the Festival's Monthly Film Series. The film stars Academy Award-winner Jim Broadbent and Colin Firth and was the "Opening Night Feature" at the 2008 Festival. Tickets are discounted 25% for AIFF members and are available now at the Varsity Theatre box office. Call for Entries
The 8th Annual ashland independent film festival will begin accepting entries August 1st. Known for "treating filmmakers like rockstars", the AIFF is commited to fostering an intimate celebration of independent film in southern Oregon. The AIFF accepts short and feature length films in the following categories: narrative, documentary, experimental, animation, and student produced. Click here for more info.

Festival Packs Theatres
The 7th Annual ashland independent film festival wrapped Monday evening after five days of packed theatres. 101 of the festival's 130 films and events were sold out, with over 90 percent of tickets sold for the Varsity Theatre screenings. 16,000 tickets were distributed to approximately 7000 attendees.
